About CPNO

The Candler Park Neighborhood Organization (CPNO), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was incorporated in 1980 to serve Candler Park, a neighborhood assigned to the City of Atlanta’s Neighborhood Planning Unit N (NPU-N).  Its purpose, as stated in its bylaws, is to promote the common good and general welfare in the neighborhood.  Its major fundraiser is Fall Fest, an annual event that includes music, activities for children, artists booths, and food trucks.  CPNO contributes to projects that serve the neighborhood, such as infrastructure improvements promoting pedestrian and bike safety as well as enhancements to the park itself, and hosts events benefiting the community throughout the year.

Incorporation

The Candler Park Neighborhood was incorporated October 24, 1980, and restated October 17, 2005. Thanks to our initial Board of Directors—Howard Kress, Roben Voight, Mike Fallize, and Fred Roberts—and to Frederick Rossini for the 2005 restatement
